企画趣旨 / Event aims
発達保育実践政策学センター（CEDEP）では、保育・幼児教育現場で母語とは異なることばを話す子どもたちのことばの発達を支援するために有効な実践について検討するため、ロンドン大学ユニヴァーシティ・カレッジ教育研究所（UCL IoE）のLynn Ang先生の研究グループと共同研究を行なっております。本セミナーでは、共同研究について簡単にご紹介した上で、保育・幼児教育現場での乳幼児のことばの発達の支援のあり方について、考えていきます。
The Center for Early Childhood Development, Education, and Policy Research (CEDEP) is collaborating with Professor Lynn Ang and the early years team at University College London, Institute of Education (UCL IOE) to examine effective practices to support the language development of children who speak different languages from their home languages in childcare and early childhood education settings. In this seminar, we will briefly introduce the joint research and discuss how to support young children's language development in childcare and early childhood education settings.

リン・アン教授
リン・アン教授は、ロンドン大学ユニヴァーシティ・カレッジ教育研究所の幼児教育学教授です。これまでに、子どもの学習と教育の概念化、幼児期から初等教育までの子どもの経験を媒介し形成する社会的、文化的、政策的、マクロ政治的な環境に焦点を当てた研究を行ってきました。幼児期のカリキュラム、多様性と平等、国際的な幼児期政策（特に東南アジア、アジア太平洋地域におけるECEC）、評価の方法論について豊かな知識をお持ちです。

Professor Lynn Ang
Professor Lynn Ang is Professor of Early Childhood Education at the Institute of Education, University College London. Her research has focused on conceptualizing children's learning and education, and the social, cultural, policy, and macropolitical environments that mediate and shape children's experiences from early childhood through primary education. She has a rich knowledge of early childhood curriculum, diversity and equity, international early childhood policy (particularly ECEC in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region), and evaluation methodologies. - コミュニケーション、質の高い関わりの重要性を改めて認識することができました。
- 「言葉の発達には保育者の応答的な関わりが重要である」ということについて、しっかりとエビデンスがあり、イギリスでも同様に重要視されていることが分かり、改めて重要性を理解することができました。新たな学びとして、「3秒待つ」という関わり方により、子どもが安心して話せるようになるということです。実践していきたいです。
- シュレックアプローチは昔から保育現場で行われている基本姿勢だと認識していますが 今回改めて取り上げられることにより、その有効性を再認識出来ました。 この理想的なアプローチを保護者にも広め、子ども達の生育環境がよりよくなることを願います。 貴重なお話をありがとうございました。大変有意義な時間でした。
- 外国籍の園児が在籍しており、伝え方、関わり方、保護者支援も子どもへの関わりもどのようにしたら良いのか答えがなく、園全体でどのように取り組んだら良いのか悩んでいました。今回のシンポジウムの内容を参考にしたいです。
